Dagger Directive Tools Hub
Click a role or a theater instead of standing in the armory.
Guides teach the rules. These two tools turn the rules into a card you can use on the ship. They will not fire the LRF for you. They will stop you from packing a SAW for a grass crawl and irons for a Bering kilometre.
Loadout planner
The loadout planner asks for a job — stealth, assault, overwatch, grenadier — and returns a starting primary, pouch notes, and links into Role builds, Weapon ranks, and Drones. Use it when you know how loud you want to be and do not want to reread a full kit page.
Mission planner
The mission planner asks for theater, day or night, silent or loud. It returns a packing sentence: NVGs, grass, lamps, or a desync test. Use it before you touch the armory. Then open the Walkthrough if you need the longer theater brief.
How to use both without turning it into homework
- Set the brief in the mission planner.
- Pick the matching job in the loadout planner.
- Confirm walk and pouches on Controls.
- Save on the ramp.
- If you die, change one variable — clock, door, or job — not all three.
New players should still read Getting Started once. The tools assume you know the ship exists. They also assume Version 1.0 is the build on disk: Global Ops is a theater option, and the M32 is a legal grenadier toy.
What these tools are not
They are not an overlay, not a cheat, and not a live ballistic calculator. Ballistics remains the zeroing page. They are not a co-op matchmaker; Co-op remains the hosting checklist. They are not a Workshop browser; Workshop remains the subscribe-and-board flow.
If a patch adds a gadget that changes night or drones, we will update the planner copy. Until then, treat the cards as 1.0 doctrine, then improvise like the sandbox wants you to.
When you outgrow the cards, you will live in Stealth and Gear and only come back here when a friend asks “what do I pack.” That is the correct graduation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Which tool should I open first?
Mission planner for the brief, then loadout planner for the kit. Clock decides NVGs before the rail does.
Do the tools replace the written guides?
No. They point at them. Stealth, ballistics, and co-op still need the long pages.
Are the planners updated for Version 1.0?
Yes. Global Ops is a theater option and the grenadier card includes the 1.0 launchers.
